Our client is an iconic Australian organisation with one of the largest distribution networks in the country. They are headquartered in central Melbourne and currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced logistics project manager in the capacity of 'Senior Program Manager'.
About the Role
Reporting to GM level and leading a small team, the Senior Program Manager is a critical supply chain role responsible for leading, planning and managing the day to day activities and resources of the program, to ensure that the function continues to deliver high quality benefits and outcomes for the organisation. Key accountability includes:
- Preparing and administering key documentation to ensure clarity of timeline, milestones and outcomes
- The development of relevant budgets and forecatsts and effectivce management of resources
- Building technical capability amongst team members in addition to an innovative and adaptive team culture
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a senior logistics professional with a demonstrated track record of success in leading complex projects in a transformation environment. You will be a first class communicator, influencer and negotiator and be capable of doing so up to the executive level. Ideally tertiary qualified in supply chain or project management, you will have also led logistics and / or project management functions in a range of industries and business environments.
