They are headquartered in Melbourne and currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced logistics professional in the capacity of Senior Project & Solutions Design Manager.
About the Role
Reporting to GM level and leading a small team, the Senior Project & Solutions Design Manager is a critical role responsible for pivoting between the planning, resourcing and leadership of a range of operational transformation focused projects, to the scoping, design and execution of complex logistics solutions for customers. Key accountability includes:
- Preparing and administering key documentation to ensure clarity of timelines, milestones and outcomes for large operations-focused projects.
- The development of best in class warehousing, transport and entire distribution network solutions for a range of customers across varied industries.
- The development of relevant budgets and forecatsts for key projects, and effective ongoing management of resources.
- Alongside all operational considerations, the creation of financial and pricing models for recommended solutions, to ensure sounds commercial outcomes for the organisation and its customer base.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a senior logistics professional with a demonstrated track record of success in leading complex projects in a transformation environment. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in a technical discipline such as electrical, mechanical or design engineering and have since continued your career in the logistics or broader supply chain realm. You will be a first class communicator, influencer and negotiator and be capable of doing so up to the executive level.
