Our client is a large ASX services organisation, with over 2000 employees and diversified assets. The organisation services consumers and businesses across Victoria. The procurement function is a high performing, collaborative team and is one of the largest procurement functions within Victoria.

About the role

The role will be responsible for providing strategic sourcing and vendor management support that optimises total cost of ownership. The role will also be responsible for driving social procurement principles through vendor assessment and selection.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Providing support to Senior Category Managers in ensuring accurate and robust analytical recommendations are presented
  • Establishing relationships with key internal stakeholders and driving robust procurement principles on projects
  • Continuously evaluting supply market dynamics
  • Work with internal stakeholders in providing insights / expertise in categories managed

About you

We are seeking to speak to candidates who have gained procurement sourcing experience within large, preferably listed organisations. Ideally you will be Bachelors of Engineering qualified with experience in project procurement. Some experience with social procurement will also be highly regarded.
