About the Role
- Leadership of all technical roles including QA, Laboratory and Process Engineering
- Take responsibility for reducing customer complaints and improving the product performance for all clients
- Advise the site on technical issues and the scope of alternative solutions
- Maintain ongoing compliance with standards, legislation, and customer requirements
- Maintain HACCP Process Flow charts and plans
- Drive continuous improvement and technology innovation
Skills and Experience
- QA Manager with at least 10 years industry experience ideally in manufacturing of food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and/or a related industry
- Solid experience in process control and continuous improvement
- Working understanding of Quality Assurance, QMS and the complaint handling process
- Strong working knowledge of Health and Safety Standards, Food Safety, GMP, QMS and GEP
- The ability to manage a large team and create a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and strategic agility
- Additional qualifications in process engineering would be highly regarded
