My client is a global FMCG business who specialise in manufacturing premium food and beverage products found locally and internationally. They pride themselves on their exceptional knowledge of their consumers, markets and products, which has contributed to their strong success over the years. They have recently gone through a significant period of change as a result of an acquisition, and they are now ready to put on a State Account Manager in WA to manage their Foodservice customers.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Foodservice, this business-critical role will be responsible for generating new business and maximizing existing business throughout the foodservice channel, through both distributors and end-users. You will be tasked managing an account development plan, where you will drive customer excellence, pricing objectives and managing contract negotiations. Reporting, forecasting and business planning will also develop a component of this role.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a Business Development Manager or Key / State Account Manager from within the FMCG industry, ideally within foodservice distribution. You will have exceptional communication, negotiation and analytical skills, and have a passion for driving new business initiatives. You will be a result orientated professional who thrives on working on a team environment.
