About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 across VIC and TAS specifically within the Independent Grocery channel. This role will see you own the state field plan where you will take the lead on the development of strategic planning for key customers that will allow you to drive sales objectives, whilst also coaching, lading and mentoring your team on best practice field activity. You will manage your own analysis of the state to ensure you are across competitor activity and overall performance whilst also collaborate with the wider NBM and sales team on account activity at national level.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated leadership experience from within the FMCG industry. Given the commercial nature of this role customer experience (state or national) will also be advantageous. Your commercial acumen with shine through your communication skills and you will have a natural way of dealing with people where you can build rapport and trust quickly. A genuine passion for people and working in a fast paced environment will also see you succeed in this role.
