About the company
Our client is a critical part of Australia healthcare system and have been operating in Australia for decades. They have a large and complex network and are looking for an experienced supply chain professional to assist in a contract capacity as they look to improve operations across their inbound supply chain.
Working alongside the supply chain team, your role will be to bring operational improvements right through the inbound supply chain. This will include the management of orders with suppliers, inbound freight through multiple warehouses, optimising inventory holdings, building of inventory of key SKUs and weekly management reporting of inventory stock position.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with broad and varied inbound supply chain experience. Ideally having working businesses of different levels of sophistication, you will know what good looks like and have experience in working on business improvement initiatives. You will be a natural communicator / stakeholder manager and be able to influence and consultant to the organisation on key area of improvement. As well as this you be "hands on" in the regards to rolling up your sleeves and delivering outcomes in a lean structure.
