About the role
As the Supply Chain Manager you will lead a team and be responsible for ensuring that all product is procured, planned, forecasted and delivered across the network against agreed performance metrics. With a strong commercial focus you will work with supply and distribution partners to maintain service and identify opportunities to reduce cost. As part of a continual NPD cycle to maintain thier focus on innovation you will also be involved in the sourcing of new materials and products. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage supply and distribution partners against agreed metrics
- Sourcing of new products and ingredients and maintaining cost control
- Provide weekly reporting on supply chain performance
- Effectively communicate across varied internal and extrenal stakeholes
- Lead with passion and continue the development of the supply chain team
Skills & Experience
To achieve success in this role you will have gained a breadth of experience across supply chain and procurement within the food sector and have a track record of success in identifying opportunities drive efficiencies. A proven supplier management skill set and strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively and confidently present to senior leadership on relevant supply projects and commercial outcomes of the function.
