About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager is a critical functional lead role responsible for providing an effective and efficient supply chain model that supports customers needs and broader businesses objectives. In this high-profile leadership role, your key accountability will include:
- Leading a team of direct reports whose responsibilities encompass production and raw materials planning, sourcing and procurement, and purchasing and materials handling activities.
- Working collaboratively with, and managing the performance of, 3PL partners who manage international and domestic import & distrubution functions.
- The continued development of supplier performace with both international and local vendors, ensuring the timely and cost effective supply of high quality raw materials.
- A review and assessment of the current supply chain structure and associated processes, to understand if there may be opportunities for an improved approach, in line with broader Operations Strategy.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a Supply Chain professional with a demonstrated track record of success in the manufacturing industry. You will have had experience leading supply chain planning functions, procurement & vendor management activity and outsourced logistics provision. Ideally tertiary qualified in a relevant field, you will also possess first class interpersonal and demonstrated influencing capabilities.
