They sell their products through both major and independent retail sales channels, and have created a fantastic opportunity for a supply chain transformation professional to join the local leadership team in the capcity of 'Supply Chain Operations Manager'.
About the Role
The Supply Chain Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for improving systems, processes and capability around this organisations procurement, inventory and logistics management functions.
Reporting through to the Executive Level and leding a small team, the Supply Chain Operations Manager will deliver value to this organisation through the effective selection and development of a large international and domestic supplier base. Key areas of spend include contract manufacturing, international freight and domestic transport provision.
In addition, you will oversee and manage a complex international and domestic supply chain, driving efficiencies through improved forward planning, management of inhouse warehousing and outsourced / third party transport functions.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a large, complex, high SKU count, FMCG environment.
- Experience in an organisation with a complex international supply chain.
- A depth of experience in procurement management and international and domestic logistics management.
- A demonstrated track record of success improving processes, systems, the capability of your people and leading effectively through change.
