About the company
Our client is a global FMCG business with a significant Australian footprint who produce high quality food products across a suite of household brands. The business is going from strength to strength which is reflected in their strong investment through the delivery of enhancing systems and processes across the business. This has resulted in the need for Supply Planner (contract) to plan the production of several products across multiple sites.
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will be responsible for providing the master production schedule based of demand requirements and will liaise heavily with production and demand to ensure DIFOT through major sales channels is met. The complexity in this role comes from the production lead time, capacity constraints and product shelf life, as well as being highly promotional in major retailers.
This role would suit a supply chain candidate that has been working in a similar capacity, planning production and scheduling supply for FMCG products. They will have SAP experience with APO being highly desirable as well working knowledge of MRP processes. As well and this, key to success will be excellent communications and an ability to build relationships and influence outcomes remotely.
**This is an initial contract role but a great opportunity to get in with a leading FMCG business**
