We're working with a bluechip Australian business whose brands have been proudly manufacturing, selling and distributing textiles in Australia for nearly a century on their first full-time sustainability hire. About the Role

As the Sustainability Data Analyst, you will implementing the data reporting requirements to provide granular and strategic insights on sustainability performance. You will monitor and review organisational performance against sustainability targets and metrics, across the full breadth of ESG topics - including carbon, human rights, safety, materials, environment and employment.

You'll be the driver for collating, automating and delivering data for corporate reporting. What sets you apart is your ability to translate data into meaningful insights and your ability to provide information in a variety of visual formats on Sustainability-related topics, ensuring information presented is clear and unambiguous for engagement with internal and external stakeholders. You'll work flexibly from their Melbourne head office, with occasional travel.

Skills & Experience

This is a newly-created role, driven by demand from senior leadership, customers, Group and a deep desire to deliver on the business' purpose. Reporting to the Group Health Safety, Wellbeing & Sustainability Manager, you will ideally have:

  • Strong data, analytical, and systems thinking skills
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), PowerBI and internet-based research tools
  • Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, technology, data science, or commerce disciplines
  • Minimum 2-3 years professional experience in Corporate Sustainability, including with reporting, quantitative and qualitative research methods and impact measurement.
  • Ability to innovate, coordinate disparate stakeholders and datasets and build new processes from scratch
