Trade Marketing Activation Specialist

With a high quality product portfolio spanning across major grocery, pharmacy and mass merchant retailers, this has enabled the Commercial Sales team to expand their growing team. The business is currently seeking a dynamic, team player who can really own the role and drive further growth within the category.

About the role:

Reporting into the Trade Marketing Manager, this role involves identifying growth/development opportunities as well as:

  • Supporting the Trade Marketing Manager by
    • Analysing market, segment and SKU data to generate category opportunities, both proactively and in the lead up to range reviews
  • Engaging with key external shopper research and insights providers
    • Creating meaningful insights by deep diving into customer, shopper and consumer data from all available sources
  • Managing all POS activation requirements and in-store campaign executions, tracking and reporting on compliance
  • Evaluation of promotion and pricing optimisation strategies of the portfolio

Skills & experience:

  • Experience with Nielsen and/or IRI data and software
  • At least 3 years experience within a Commercial FMCG Trade Marketing role/team
  • Understanding of space planning and management
  • High degree of analytical acumen and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
