About the role

Reporting through to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Inventory Controller will be responsible for the following:

  • Receipt all deliveries into WMS / ERP system
  • Organise and maintain the site storage locations for optimum efficiency
  • Propose new design layouts to enhance operations and plan future capacity requirements
  • Advise potential inventory stock-outs
  • Monitor inventory levels considering changing production demand requirements.
  • Lead and manage to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

This includes all receipting of goods, storage, pick & pack and loading in a 'safety first' environment, to enable the business to achieve the highest level of customer service within budget.

Skills & Experience

  • A track record of success in warehousing with the FMCG sector is essential, dealing with the demands of the major grocery retailers. Experience in a Cold Chain environment is paramount. Experience as an Inbound Receival Manager / Inventory Controller.
  • Good understanding of WMS, Six Sigma Certification is highly regarded. Associate or Bachelors degree is highly adventagious.
