Proudly Australian owned, and driving an expansion into grocery retail, an opportunity has now become available for an experienced logistics professional to oversee their warehousing functions nationally.
About the role
Reporting through to the Operations Manager and leading a team of 15+ staff, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management and overall performance of warehousing and dispatch functions across a local in house, and interstate 3PL operations.
This includes all receipting of goods, storage, pick & pack and loading in a 'safety first' environment, to enable the business to achieve the highest level of customer service within budget.
Success will be measured by your ability to implement robust process that sets up the business for further growth and by maximising service performance ex D.C.
Skills & Experience
* A track record of success in warehousing with the FMCG sector is essential, dealing with the demands of the major grocery retailers
* Experience leading teams and building the capability of individuals in an environment where safety is paramount
* Customer service driven approach and the ability to manage a range of existing accounts and internal stakeholders.
* An ability to analyse process and procedures to ensure that targets are met and standards adhered to, in line with company policy
