Procurement Buyer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, a global commodities business, is embarking on a SAP S/4HANA ERP deployment. They need an experienced procurement operator to provide on-the-ground execution and key-user support, ensuring successful go-live and smooth adoption across the business on a 12 month contract. 

This is an execution-focused role — not transformation design or governance. The right person will reduce delivery risk during a critical transition period while senior teams focus on program leadership.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Procurement execution (P2P)
– PR/PO processing, follow-up, and issue resolution
– Alignment with target ERP and procurement processes

Supplier onboarding
– Vendor onboarding and master data collection
– Supplier readiness and process adoption

SAP S/4HANA key-user
– Local key-user for procurement systems
– UAT support, training, and issue resolution

Go-live & stabilisation
– Rollout of processes, tools, and automation
– Track progress, identify risks, support stabilisation


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

– 3–5 years in procurement operations, buying, or supply chain
– SAP experience — S/4HANA preferred
– Comfortable owning execution in a project or transformation environment
– Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
