After a significant year in growth and some exciting launches on the horizon they are looking to find a fantastic people leader manager to drive their NSW team to great heights.

About the role

In this key people management role, you will provide inspirational leadership to the NSW business development team of through effective coaching and mentoring. Managing a team of 20 with 3 key direct reports, and reporting to the National Field Manager, you have full state ownership for budgeting and running the P&L. Acting as the conduit between the Head Office and Field team you will identify new business opportunities and ensure continuous improvement across the retail channel. This will include a strong focus on coaching and mentoring, executing business initiatives localised to your region as well as creating new ways of working to install high performance. You will also manage the state budgets and core financials, as well as some small state accounts.

Skills & Experience

You are likely a highly successful State Sales Manager or Field Manager with successful leadership experience. You are a passionate team leader, with key strengths in mentoring & business identification for succession.

  • Sales experience in consumer goods, FMCG experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong people management experience, developing teams of business development or sales professionals
  • Strengths identifying business opportunities and growing territories through successful account management
  • Excellent selling & negotiation skills through effective stakeholder management
  • Strong commercial acumen, budgeting, forecasting and P&L understanding
  • Passionate and energetic storyteller
