Our client, a leader in their industry, are looking for a Demand Planner. They manufacture and distribute a range of Australian brand icons in the health and beauty, household and industrial cleaners, and some over-the-counter medicines.

The Demand Planner role has full responsibility for managing all demand activities across retail and pharmaceutical customer channels. It will lead monthly forecast meetings, work closely with Sales and Customers to build demand plans and proactively manage the rolling demand forecast. They will be seen as a true business partner by utilising data and analysis to influence the planning process and drive better business and customer outcomes.
  • Lead the monthly Forecast Review meetings.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results in order to forecast demand accurately.
  • Interact with sales and marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Liaise with Sales on receiving market intelligence for both the Grocery and Pharmacy channels.
  • Tracking and reporting of short term forecast changes and communicate with Supply Planners.
  • Support and drive the development of new processes and initiatives to drive continuous improvements in forecasting
We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner (2-3 years) ideally from FMCG or Pharma, who is commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast paced, high-growth environment. Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools is preferred, particularly advanced excel, Power BI. The ideal candidate will also have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
