Six Degrees Executive has partnered with a major player in the beverage manufacturing industry to recruit a National Quality Manager to strategically lead and shape quality standards across multiple production sites. The business is going through an exciting phase of transformation and growth at a time where alot of the market is experiencing the opposite. About the Role:
As the National Quality Manager, you will function as the organisation’s subject matter expert in food safety, regulatory compliance, microbiology, and quality assurance systems. You'll lead national QA strategies, ensure regulatory readiness, and oversee continuous improvement in quality systems across the business. This is a high-impact role that reports into senior leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with R&D, operations, technical, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead national standardisation of HACCP systems and validate critical food safety controls.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external quality audits, including SQF and GMP assessments.
  • Drive consistency in quality systems, SOPs, and microbiological testing protocols across sites.
  • Champion the company’s Food Safety Culture Program, ensuring alignment across all facilities.
  • Lead training programs to upskill QA and R&D teams and reinforce a culture of microbiological excellence.
  • Oversee national compliance for microbiological surveillance and Clean-In-Place (CIP) programs.
  • Support incident investigations and customer complaint resolutions through effective root cause analysis.
  • Monitor national KPI performance to drive product compliance and minimise quality risks.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field (postgraduate qualifications advantageous).
  • 5+ years in a QA/QC Management experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry with a multi-site remit
  • In-depth knowledge of microbiological risks, HACCP, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and standardise practices across multiple sites.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and training capabilities.
