Performance Marketing Specialist
Permanent | 5 Days in Office | Melbourne | Reporting to Marketing and Ecommerce Manager

My client, Jo Mercer, is seeking a skilled Performance Marketing Specialist to join their in-house team. This role is ideal for someone with proven, hands-on experience in managing and optimising paid search and social campaigns, with a strong focus on delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid search (Google Ads) and paid social campaigns (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
  • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to maximise campaign performance
  • Write effective ad copy and collaborate with designers on high-performing visual and video assets
  • Monitor, analyse, and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to drive ROI and improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Track and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and related tools
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Manage and allocate campaign budgets for maximum efficiency
  • Stay current with digital advertising trends and apply new learnings to campaign strategies
About You
  • Demonstrated experience directly managing paid ads in-platform (especially Meta and Google Ads)
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of improving ROAS
  • Confident in campaign optimisation, budget management, and reporting
  • Up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3yrs experience in a performance marketing or digital advertising role
  • Strong understanding of paid media platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Experience in content creation, SEO, and email marketing
  • Strong campaign reporting and analytics skills
