As part of this investment an exciting new role for a Procurement Category Manager - Technology has been created.
The role reports to the Head of Procurement, this role will lead a high-profile category with accountability for the commercial and strategic management of key IT suppliers - in the role you’ll drive category strategy, lead negotiations, and oversee governance and supplier performance, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that shape the future of Cloud, Infrastructure, and broader Technology Services across the business.
We’re looking for a Procurement Manager with experience managing complex technology categories, ideally with exposure to Cloud (AWS, Oracle Cloud etc), IaaS, and Security. Commercially astute with strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills, you’ll bring a strategic and analytical mindset and the ability to work with and influence stakeholders and suppliers in a matrix environment. You’ll communicate with clarity and confidence, simplifying complexity and bringing ideas and solutions to life. Above all, you’ll be a self-starter, curious, proactive, and driven to learn, grow, and make a positive impact.
