About the company
Join a purpose led organisation that delivers life changing educational opportunities for young people across Australia. This team operates with the polish of a corporate environment while staying grounded in genuine community impact. They partner closely with government, major corporates and community groups to deliver programs, events and communications that showcase meaningful outcomes. They foster a values driven culture, high standards, clear processes and a supportive leadership group that cares about wellbeing and development.
About the role
This newly shaped leadership role sits at the heart of the communications and events function. You will guide a small team, drive the communications strategy and manage long standing media and stakeholder relationships. The remit includes digital content, donor communications, project management of the annual report and oversight of three signature events each year, including a major annual celebration and a national cultural event with key partners. You will be hands on, confident and able to build capability across the team while keeping delivery smooth and consistent. This is a visible role that collaborates across the organisation and contributes to senior discussions.
About you
You have a strong communications background with the ability to lead people, shape messaging and manage a broad stakeholder landscape. You are confident working with media partners, comfortable guiding content and digital output and experienced in delivering polished events. You must have experience directly managing small teams, and your leadership style is supportive, structured and steady, with a focus on coaching and elevating your team. You enjoy working in a purpose driven environment that maintains corporate standards. You are organised, adaptable, outcomes focused and ready to step into a role where your impact on the team and the organisation’s voice will be immediate.
What's in it for you
You will be joining a purpose lead organisation which makes an impact on young peoples lives across Australia. Being an NFP, you will receive salary packaging, increasing your take home pay significantly and will receive an additional 7 days of cultural/wellness leave to use how you wish. You will be stepping into a management position with the opportunity to grow and develop a junior team, joining a collaborative organisation who value their people.
