Safety Advisor (WHS)

Salary: $50 - $60 per hour

Six Degrees has been engaged by a global equipment manufacturer to recruit a WHS Advisor for their Kemps Creek distribution site.
The role of the WHS Advisor is to facilitate risk assessments, implement and develop WHS policies and ensure site safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.

The role is a 6-month contract (they are open to candidates who can do either part time and full time hours) with the ideal candidate able to start immediately!  

 Responsibilities include: 
  • Implementation of WHS strategies in a warehousing environment
  • Experience advising to Site Leadership
  • Work with WHS team to improve the existing WHS Management System
  • Develop WHS policies based on risk assessments
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in a Safety role - Minimum 2+ years
  • Working experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a must
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good knowledge of risk management and traffic management
  • Well rounded WHS knowledge
  • At least 1 year of Australian work experience
