About the Company
A well-established manufacturing business operating across production, import, and retail channels. The company focuses on delivering high-quality products while maintaining strong commercial and operational controls. Due to an increase in workload, the finance team is looking for a financial accountant to join the team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, four-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent, based out of the company’s offices in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

You will manage end-to-end financial accounting across the business, including import, manufacturing, B2B, and B2C operations. This includes month-end and year-end processes, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable management, cash flow oversight, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will also support operational teams with financial insights, cost analysis, and process improvements, while identifying opportunities to optimise systems and accounting processes.

About You

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, commercially aware financial accountant with strong transactional accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, product-based, or automotive environment. You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of navigating complex operational and financial challenges. A strong background in end-to-end accounting, month-end reporting, AR/cash flow management, and ERP systems such as SAP. CPA or CA qualified (or actively completing) candidates with excellent analytical and communication skills will thrive in this role.
