A well-established, national Fintech organisation is looking for an Events & Sponsorship Specialist to step into a high-impact contract role, supporting the delivery of a large-scale learning and development program. This is a unique opportunity to work across both event delivery and commercial partnerships, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and external partners.

The role
This position sits within a collaborative events and marketing function, taking ownership of a defined portfolio across events and sponsorship.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Delivering end-to-end events as part of a national program
  • Managing sponsorship relationships with key partners
  • Leading partner conversations and supporting commercial negotiations
  • Coordinating sponsorship deliverables, reporting and communications
  • Supporting campaign and event communications (EDMs, registration, collateral)
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
About you
You’ll come from an events, sponsorship or partnerships background, and enjoy a role that blends delivery with stakeholder engagement.
You bring:
  • Experience across events, partnerships or sponsorship
  • Confidence working directly with external partners or clients
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, responsive approach to your work
  • Solid communication skills and attention to detail

  • 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover)
  • Melbourne-based
  • Occasional interstate travel (a few times per year)
