MUST HAVE A CAR

A well-known global consumer brand is looking for a Social Media Specialist to support its ANZ marketing team across day-to-day social, community engagement and influencer activity. This is a hands-on contract role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, managing live social channels and building genuine connections with audiences.

The role
  • You’ll take ownership of the brand’s organic social presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. This includes managing comments, DMs and mentions, scheduling content, engaging with user-generated content and supporting influencer campaigns. Some weekend and outside standard hours work required
  • You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to keep content flowing, campaigns supported and the brand consistently showing up in a way that feels human, responsive and on-brand.
  • There’s also a strong focus on social listening, identifying trends, monitoring sentiment and feeding insights back into the team to improve performance.
Must-Have Requirements
  • Candidates will need to demonstrate solid, hands-on experience managing organic social channels day-to-day, including responding to comments and DMs, scheduling content and maintaining a consistent brand tone across platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Strong written communication is essential. This role is heavily focused on community engagement, so the ability to adapt tone, respond thoughtfully and represent the brand in a human, on-brand way is critical.
  • You’ll need to be confident working in-platform and managing multiple workstreams at once, balancing content scheduling, community management and campaign support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting influencer or creator activity is important, whether that’s outreach, coordination or managing deliverables and timelines.
  • A basic understanding of social performance metrics is expected, with the ability to pull together simple reports and identify trends or opportunities.
  • You must have access to a car, as this role is based in Mulgrave with three days per week in the office (tricky location by public transport, parking onsite).
Why apply
You’ll be joining a well-established brand with a highly engaged social audience, where you can take ownership of day-to-day activity and play a key role in how the brand connects with customers across ANZ.

If you enjoy fast-paced, global environments, content, community and working closely with creators, this is a strong opportunity. Feel free to apply or email your CV and folio to Hannah at Hannahs@sde.com.au
