The Role
We are seeking a Senior Shift Manager to lead a newly established operation. This hands-on role will involve managing a small shift team, implementing processes and ways of working, and ensuring smooth day-to-day performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining quality and safety standards, and leading from the front in a high-pressure, temperature-controlled environment. This is a contract role with strong potential for permanency for the right person, offering the chance to build and shape a greenfield operation from the ground up.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with previous experience in cold chain or temperature-controlled operations, who can manage teams autonomously in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. They will have a proven track record of enforcing processes, driving performance, and improving operational outcomes. Strong communication, ERP literacy, and the ability to work hands-on while guiding a diverse team are essential. This role is suited to practical, decisive operators who thrive under pressure and are motivated by ownership and results.
