Key responsibilities
- Own the 13-week production plan and 4-week schedule, ensuring alignment with demand and customer orders.
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, technical, sales and warehouse teams to maintain a clear, shared production plan.
- Use MRP to plan raw materials and packaging, ensuring consistent material flow in line with inventory policies.
- Monitor schedule adherence, partnering with frontline leaders to investigate delays and implement improvements.
- Manage MTO products and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet specific requirements.
- Review and optimise safety stock levels and minimum order quantities to improve inventory efficiency.
- Analyse supply shortages, late deliveries and excess stock, conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
- Track OTIF performance and contribute insights into S&OP and supply review processes.
- Maintain accurate master data and support ongoing process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
- Communicate supply risks or issues early, working cross-functionally to resolve them.
- Contribute to team capability uplift and provide broader support across the supply chain function when required.
- Around 2+ years’ experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with MRP and inventory planning principles.
- Exposure to SAPmwith solid Microsoft Office capability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across operations, supply chain and commercial teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience investigating service issues, delays or inventory challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
