A leading consumer goods company is on the hunt for an experienced BI Analyst to join their data team for an initial 12 month contract. This role sits at the centre of data and decision-making, focused on turning trusted data into clear, usable insights across the business. You’ll own Power BI reporting end-to-end, working closely with stakeholders to define what good looks like, then building it in a way people actually use.

It’s a hands-on role with a strong delivery focus. There’s good data in place, the challenge is getting it out of Snowflake and into dashboards that drive real decisions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards used across the business
  • Translate business questions into clear reporting outputs and KPI frameworks
  • Work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, sales and marketing to define requirements
  • Improve reporting standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy and clear documentation
  • Drive adoption of Power BI and support teams to become more self-sufficient
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, then communicate insights in a way that lands
  • Help streamline how data flows from Snowflake into reporting layers
What you’ll bring
  • Strong Power BI development experience, comfortable building from scratch (minimum 3 years)
  • Solid experience working with Snowflake environments
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, you can ask the right questions and challenge when needed
  • Experience defining KPIs and building consistent reporting frameworks
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Preference for depth over breadth, someone who knows their tools well and delivers with confidence
The details
  • 12-month contract with potential to extend
  • 3 days onsite in Dandenong South (typically Mon, Tues, Thurs)
