This privately owned Australian business has been operating successfully for more than 30 years and is recognised as a trusted supplier across the safety, traffic management, civil construction and industrial sectors.
With onsite manufacturing capabilities and a strong national customer base, the company partners with distributors, councils, traffic management providers, construction businesses and industrial organisations across Australia.
The business is entering an exciting growth phase, with ambitious plans over the next 2–3 years and continued investment across sales, marketing and digital capability. With approximately 30 staff and a collaborative leadership team, the business offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a well-established yet evolving environment.
 
The Role
This is a hands-on B2B marketing role focused on account-based marketing, customer engagement, brand execution and sales enablement.
Working closely with sales and leadership, you will develop targeted marketing initiatives across several industry sectors, helping strengthen customer relationships, improve lead generation and support revenue growth.
The role would suit someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and is comfortable owning marketing activity end-to-end within a fast-paced industrial and trade-focused environment.
You will have the opportunity to influence marketing direction, bring more capability in-house, and help modernise how the business engages with customers across digital, content, and campaign channels.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted account-based marketing campaigns across key industry sectors
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and strategic accounts
  • Create tailored messaging and campaigns for different customer groups and industries
  • Support lead generation, customer retention, and sales enablement initiatives
  • Manage EDM and email marketing campaigns
  • Develop and manage organic social media content across LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Write marketing copy, blogs, campaign content, and customer communications
  • Coordinate and improve marketing collateral including catalogues, brochures, sales tools, and promotional assets
  • Manage website updates, landing pages, and digital content through WordPress
  • Help bring SEO capability increasingly in-house
  • Improve product photography, visual assets, and brand presentation
  • Support trade shows, promotional activity, and branded merchandise initiatives
  • Track campaign performance and contribute to measurable marketing outcomes
 
Must Haves
  • Proven experience within B2B marketing, account-based marketing, or industrial/trade-focused marketing environments
  • Strong understanding of targeted marketing and customer segmentation
  • Ability to independently manage and execute campaigns end-to-end
  • Experience with EDM platforms and digital campaign management
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Experience managing websites and digital content
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A practical, proactive, and hands-on approach
  • Full Australian working rights
Highly regarded:
  • Experience within industrial, safety, construction, civil, manufacturing, transport, or trade-related industries
  • WordPress experience
  • Graphic design capability
  • Photography/video editing skills
  • CRM or marketing automation platform experience
