Traffic & Production Specialist

Melbourne | Full-time | Hybrid

If you're the person who naturally brings order to creative chaos, this could be the role for you. We're partnering with a well-known Australian trades brand that is investing heavily in its in-house creative capability. Following a significant transformation of its marketing function, they're building a brand-new content studio and are looking for an experienced Traffic & Production Specialist to help establish the processes, workflows and operational rhythm that will underpin its success.

This is more than a traditional traffic management role. You'll be joining at the beginning of an exciting journey, helping shape how an in-house studio operates while partnering with creative, marketing and digital teams to deliver high-quality content at scale.

The Role
As the Traffic & Production Specialist, you'll own the day-to-day flow of work through the studio, ensuring projects move seamlessly from briefing through to final delivery. You'll work closely with designers, copywriters, content creators and marketing stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, managing studio capacity and keeping everyone aligned on timelines and deliverables. You'll also play a key role in refining processes, introducing smarter ways of working and leveraging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end workflow of multiple creative projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate studio capacity, priorities and production schedules.
  • Act as the key liaison between marketing stakeholders and the creative team.
  • Ensure briefs are complete, clearly scoped and ready for production.
  • Manage relationships with external photographers, videographers, producers and freelancers.
  • Identify workflow improvements and implement scalable production processes.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality content across digital, social, retail and marketing channels.
  • Provide visibility of project status, timelines and delivery risks.
About You
You'll likely come from a creative agency, production agency or established in-house studio where managing multiple projects and stakeholders is second nature.

You'll bring:
  • 4-7 years' experience in traffic management, production, creative operations or studio management.
  • Agency experience is highly regarded.
  • Outstanding organisational and project management skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience improving workflows and production processes.
  • Curiosity around AI and emerging technology to improve operational efficiency.
Most importantly, you're calm under pressure, commercially minded and enjoy being the person who keeps everything moving.

This is an opportunity to join a business at a pivotal point in its evolution and help build an in-house content studio from the ground up. You'll have genuine influence over how the team operates, work alongside experienced creative and marketing professionals, and play a central role in delivering content for one of Australia's most recognised brands.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine project management, creative production and operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply here or share your CV with Hannah on Hannahs@sde.com.au
