This is a high-impact regional role offering the opportunity to shape HSEQ strategy, influence business performance and partner closely with senior leaders across manufacturing, logistics and commercial operations throughout ANZ.

If you're looking for a role where you can drive meaningful change, champion a proactive safety culture and elevate quality standards across a complex, multi-site operation, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Please note: This role requires travel to Brisbane from Tuesday to Thursday every second week (approximately six working days per month). This is an essential requirement of the role and is non-negotiable.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the leadership team, you'll take ownership of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across an ANZ operational footprint, including manufacturing, warehousing, third-party logistics providers, contract manufacturers, sales offices and mobile sales teams.
As the regional HSEQ subject matter expert, you'll ensure compliance with Australian legislation and internationally recognised standards while driving a proactive safety culture, supporting continuous improvement and maintaining robust quality management systems. Working closely with both local and global stakeholders, you'll play a key role in influencing operational performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the HSEQ strategy across multiple operational sites throughout the ANZ region.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
  • Chair the Regional Health & Safety Committee and champion behavioural-based safety initiatives.
  • Conduct site audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews, identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve performance.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications across the business.
  • Manage quality systems, including product quality reporting, returns and market quality investigations.
  • Coordinate quality matters between regional operations and global engineering, manufacturing, quality and compliance teams.
  • Deliver engaging HSEQ training and coaching across the organisation to strengthen capability and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, auditors and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.

About You
You're an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on operational support. You have a collaborative approach, can influence stakeholders at all levels and are passionate about driving a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
You'll ideally bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in an HSEQ role within manufacturing, industrial, logistics or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Experience managing HSEQ programs across multiple sites within a complex business.
  • Proven capability conducting audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Experience delivering training and influencing positive safety behaviours.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Exposure to quality methodologies such as RCA, 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP or Lean Six Sigma will be highly regarded.
  • Experience within electrical products or industrial manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

  • Join a globally recognised organisation with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and employee development.
  • Take ownership of HSEQ across a diverse ANZ operation with genuine influence on business performance.
  • Partner with senior leaders and global stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
  • Enjoy a broad, autonomous role with the opportunity to drive meaningful safety and quality improvements.
  • Long-term career development within a stable, international organisation.
