Experienced Grant Writer wanted to secure funding for a leading Victorian charity. Flexible 0.6 FTE to Full Time opportunity.

About the role
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end grants function, identifying funding opportunities, developing compelling submissions and managing grant reporting and acquittals. Working closely with program leaders and internal stakeholders, you'll translate complex initiatives into persuasive funding applications that help deliver critical community programs.
This role offers flexibility and can be appointed on either a Part Time (0.6 FTE) or Full Time basis, depending on the successful candidate.

- Researching and identifying grant opportunities across philanthropic trusts, foundations and government funding programs.
- Writing high-quality, persuasive grant applications aligned to organisational priorities.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to gather program information, budgets and project outcomes.
- Managing grant timelines, compliance requirements, reporting and acquittals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders and key stakeholders.
- Monitoring grant performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience preparing successful grant applications and managing associated reporting and acquittals.
- Experience securing grants of significant value, ideally across philanthropic, trust, foundation or government funding streams.
- Outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling funding submissions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Exceptional organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple funding opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience within the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded, although applicants from aligned sectors with transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
