Six Degrees Executive was excited to partner with leading consulting firm Kearney and more specifically Enrico Rizzon for a recent webinar, ‘Today’s procurement lessons, tomorrow’s procurement strategy’.
Enrico discussed how Chief Procurement Offices (CPOs) and their respective businesses can build out their five-year strategic plan and work backwards from that in terms of what they need from a resource, capabilities and structure perspective.
Enrico has been a partner at Kearney for the past 10 years and leads the Strategic Operations Practice across Asia Pacific. He is a globally recognised expert in Procurement and over the years has led significant organisational transformation projects across a wide range of sectors.
Having recently co-authored a book Disruptive Procurement, Enrico pays particular focus on digital procurement, making note that even today many leading organisations do not have the platform to be able to measure their spend – “If you can’t measure it, it is certainly hard to manage it”.
In this webinar, Enrico challenged CPOs and Heads of Procurement leaders to spend time thinking about their long-term procurement strategy, which is especially critical now in an ever evolving and complex supply chain environment. He discussed some recent procurement case studies and provides some tangible insights and tools for CPOs and procurement leaders to walk away with.
The pandemic has changed much about how businesses operate. It will be about transforming your organisation to make sure that your business is able to keep abreast of the forced changes as brought about by the outbreak of COVID-19.
