An outdoor and leisure organisation, this business is increasing presence locally and internationally, whilst significantly investing in product innovation and brand development. Due to a team member taking a new opportunity, it has opened up a Brand Activation Specialist role supporting the marketing division across both B2B and B2C channels.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist the business in the development of the marketing strategy and initiatives in line with company objectives to drive brand equity and sales. As the Brand Activation Specialist, you will work alongside a team of six and will report into the Head of Marketing. Being a part of a global organisation, you will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, both globally and locally to help support and coordinate all marketing activities for the Pacific Australian and New Zealand sales channels which include ecommerce, retail/ wholesale, and OEM.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead global, regional, and local projects related to B2B and B2C marketing, including the planning and execution of various promotional and advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate design and production (briefing) of various marketing materials such as electronic and printed brochures, product launch collateral, point of sale material, packaging, and campaign material
  • Coordinate photo / video shoots, show or events, conferences, and other brand related activity
  • Manage key partners such as agencies and vendors
  • Report back on key marketing activities and the ROI delivered
  • Manage all content and communications for key sales channels

Skills & Experience

The following skills are required for the incumbent to perform the duties of the position:

  • Prior experience as Brand Specialist, Marketing Coordinator or Trade Marketing Activation Specialist
  • Passion for the outdoors; lifestyle, activities and/or sports or similar
  • Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills required
  • Sophisticated success in creating written and oral content with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders - both internal and external
  • Advanced understanding of affiliate marketing, content management and relevant reporting systems
  • Ability to research, develop and edit material for a wide range of mediums
  • A willingness to tackle new challenges and take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and close deadlines
