With continued focus and development on the day to day and strategic WHS on site, they require a passionate and hungry specialist to assist on their journey

About the role

The WHS advisor will be responsible and accountable for the ongoing development of the WHS system across the busy manufacturing site. It will require you to be hands on and build meaningful relationships across multiple stakeholders whilst ensuring a zero-harm culture. You will be involved in investigating incidents and hazard reports, conducting risk assessments and if needed, coordinating corrective actions.

About you

We're looking for someone with hands on technical experience and is driven to succeed, your skill set will include the following:

  • Formal qualifications in WHS
  • Experienced with WHS Management Systems and the ability to utilise efficiently and cross train
  • Conduct regular inspections and auditing as per the audit schedule and develop audit reports
  • Management of all workers compensation claims and injury management programs
  • Ensure the health and well-being of staff
