As a company, they are always looking to innovate and bring new products to market based on consumer and industry needs, as well as branch into new business areas. Their products are sold through mass-retail, specialist and direct to consumer channels and they have been established in the Australian market for over 20 years.

About The Role

The Customer & Channel Marketing Manager will develop and execute strategy to implement through retail channels to achieve profit, market share and growth ambitions. This person will work alonside the broader marketing team to implement a customer strategy in line with overall brand strategy. This person will manage the annual promotions and events calendar, attending relevant trade shows driving strategic outcomes and lead generation. This person will lead retail advocacy to drive customer engagement and brand preference and work with retail partners on creative in-store activations and retail displays. The Customer & Channel Marketing Manager will manage product launches, working to tight deadlines in line with Global teams. 

About You

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Channel, Customer or Trade Marketing Manager with a strong understanding of the retail landscape and consumer focussed marketing activities.

You will need to demonstrate the following to be considered: 
  • Leading and implementing an impactful strategy to drive brand preference in a competitive landscape. 
  • Expereince working with 3rd party retailers such as (but not limited to) JBHifi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, and specialist independents.
  • Creating consumer focussed in-store campaigns and expereinces to drive brand awareness and sales. 
  • Management of a promotional calendar and a retail rewards program. 
  • You must be able to work collaboratively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including sales teams and agency partners.
