About the Position
The Business Development Manager drives revenue and enrolment for leadership programs across all sectors. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, developing strategies with the Director of Partnerships and Engagement, managing relationships, and generating leads. The role also contributes to market presence and alumni engagement.

About the Position
The Business Development Manager drives revenue and enrolment for leadership programs across all sectors. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, developing strategies with the Director of Partnerships and Engagement, managing relationships, and generating leads. The role also contributes to market presence and alumni engagement.
- Develop & execute strategic business development: Create plans with clear metrics, manage the sales pipeline, analyse market trends, and exceed revenue targets for key programs.
- Drive client acquisition & relationship management: Build and maintain a robust lead pipeline, convert prospects through consultative approaches, and nurture client relationships throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Marketing and Programs teams, provide critical market insights to inform strategy and program development, and support the Director.
- Manage systems & reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records (preferably Salesforce), deliver comprehensive reports on BD activities and forecasts, and analyse sales data for improvement.
- Engage alumni & build networks: Cultivate alumni relationships for referrals and repeat business and represent the organisation strategically to expand networks.
The successful candidate will display an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working spirit and demonstrate a proven track record of overachieving their sales quota as well as the following attributes:
- Proven experience & qualifications: Relevant postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in business development and relationship management, with demonstrated success in exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong BD process skills: Ability to systematically develop and execute BD plans, including target/account management, pipeline management, metrics, analysis, and reporting via CRM (preferably Salesforce).
- Advanced relationship & communication skills: Excellent client-centric relationship management, influencing, networking, and written/verbal communication abilities, including proposal development.
- Collaborative & results-oriented: Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, exercise high levels of independence and judgment, with exceptional results orientation and initiative.
- Personal Attributes: Demonstrates high energy, drive, strategic thinking combined with practical execution, creativity, resilience, and persistence.
