Due to ongoing year on year growth, there is an opportunity to join the team in a newly created role.

About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Innovation, the Innovation and Product Development Lead will take ownership of all things innovation within the business from consumer research and insights, ideation and concept development through to launch.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple brands in the portfolio, each with unique positioning, target consumers, growth and innovation platforms. 

The role will see you getting hands on with research tools to drive research to identifying gap, opportunities and unmet consumer needs in the market, then work through validation and product development to bring new products to life.  

This will see you acting as the project lead for product development as well as owning stage gate within the business, including adapting the process to make it fit for purpose and leading cross-functional teams as well as both owned and third-party manufacturing.

About You 
- You will have prior FMCG innovation and product development experience either from a Brand, Insights or Innovation background 
- You will be a consumer centric and a creative problem solver with a love for innovation and thinking outside the square 
- Will be a strong project manager, with experience working via stage gate to drive NPD
- Will pride yourself on your communication, influence and relationship building skills, which sees you able to effectively engage and rally cross functional stakeholders
- Will have a positive, solutions oriented can do approach, happy to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
