We’ve been engaged by a global provider of specialist ERP, supply chain management and business management software to recruit a GM for Australasia to lead their small but growing Australian business.
With headquarters in the UK and a presence in over 30 countries, they support mid-sized to enterprise clients across a range of industries. 
Backed by private equity, they have achieved significant global growth through a blend of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. They are now expanding their footprint in the Australasian market and seeking a commercially astute, customer-centric, and tech-savvy General Manager to lead their operations in the region. They already have a small hub in Brisbane and Perth but have ambitious growth plans to expand their presence here in Australia.

The Role:
As General Manager, you will lead the regional business with full P&L responsibility, reporting into the Group Executive team. This is a pivotal role focused on scaling their footprint across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
You will drive strategy execution, build high-performing teams, deepen customer relationships, and bring the full suite of ERP solutions to market. A key focus will be on integrating acquired businesses, ensure operational excellence and ensuring customer success as they expand.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Australasian business across all functions, with full commercial accountability
  • Deliver sustainable growth through strategic planning, business development, and execution
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Drive integration of any acquired entities and align them with group standards and culture
  • Lead local teams, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and innovation
  • Act as the face of the business in the region, representing the business to customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with global teams to ensure alignment on product, operations, and brand
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven senior leadership experience in enterprise software, ideally with ERP, SaaS, or vertical solutions
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, with experience in scaling businesses in complex markets
  • Deep understanding of the distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable
  • Track record of managing P&L, leading diverse teams, and driving regional growth
  • Experience navigating M&A integration and change management in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities
