The Role This newly created 3-month contract role offers an exciting opportunity for a specialist to lead the design and implementation of a new Containerised Freight (CF) model in partnership with their third-party logistics provider. The project involves consolidating supplier shipments at a new hub in China to optimise freight into Full Container Loads (FCLs) aligned with Australian distribution centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for process design, systems integration, SOP documentation, testing and go-live coordination, and final handover.
The Successful Profile We are looking for a logistics and freight forwarding expert with a strong background in containerised freight operations—ideally someone who has helped establish or manage similar freight consolidation models. Experience working across 3PL or customer-side logistics environments is essential, along with a hands-on understanding of system integrations and process mapping. You’ll be confident working autonomously, skilled at engaging suppliers and partners, and capable of driving a complex project to delivery within tight timeframes. A consulting mindset and clear communication style will be key to success.
