About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing category performance with a strong focus on driving sales growth and improving margin. You’ll work closely with a large number of suppliers to build and maintain strong commercial partnerships, ensuring a competitive and relevant product offering. A key part of the role involves leading the range selection process and executing promotional strategies across catalogues and flyers. You'll also play a pivotal role in identifying new product opportunities and bringing innovation to the market. Using market and sales data, you’ll develop strategic category plans and work collaboratively with internal teams—including promotions, data analytics, and supply chain—to ensure seamless execution and alignment across the business.
Skills and Experience Required
You’ll be a commercially minded and data-driven individual with experience in category management, buying, or merchandising—ideally in hardware, tools, automotive, or technical products.
