About The Role:
As the Client Services Director - NSW Government, you’ll be the main point of contact for local government clients, making sure they get real value from products and services. You’ll build trusted relationships, help clients navigate challenges, and look for new ways our solutions can support their goals. The role also involves connecting with key decision-makers in state and federal government planning departments, positioning our organisation as a partner of choice for place-based initiatives.

About The Role:
As the Client Services Director - NSW Government, you’ll be the main point of contact for local government clients, making sure they get real value from products and services. You’ll build trusted relationships, help clients navigate challenges, and look for new ways our solutions can support their goals. The role also involves connecting with key decision-makers in state and federal government planning departments, positioning our organisation as a partner of choice for place-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with local government clients, acting as their primary contact for all products and services.
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand client needs, address concerns, and support ongoing engagement.
- Deliver onboarding, training, and expert-led briefings to help clients get the most from our solutions.
- Manage contract renewals smoothly, identifying opportunities to consolidate or extend agreements.
- Identify and present opportunities for clients to adopt additional products or services, using data and case studies to demonstrate value.
- Lead pilot projects with select clients, demonstrating tangible value and strengthening relationships.
- Proactively build relationships with state and federal government bodies in NSW, extending our reach beyond the local government sector.
- Experience working with or within local government in New South Wales, with a strong understanding of the sector’s priorities and challenges.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to client service and problem-solving, selling product solutions to local, state, and federal agencies providing demographic, economic, and housing data analysis
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Experience using CRM systems (such as HubSpot) to track client engagement and manage pipelines.
- An understanding of the broader NSW government landscape, including state and federal agencies that influence place-based decisions.
