The Client
Our client is a leading Australian cybersecurity services provider, recognised for delivering comprehensive, tailored solutions that protect critical digital infrastructure. With strong momentum across the local and Asia-Pacific markets, they partner with organisations to proactively secure their systems in a fast-evolving threat landscape. Due to ongoing national growth, we’re supporting them in appointing a Senior Account Executive, based in Melbourne.
 
About the Position
This role is pivotal in expanding the client base and strengthening relationships with key accounts through high-impact, solutions-based selling. You’ll be responsible for uncovering new opportunities, guiding prospects through complex buying decisions, and aligning cybersecurity strategies to their business objectives.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities through targeted outreach, sector insights, and tailored proposals.
  • Engage with Senior Stakeholders: Build trust and credibility with C-level decision-makers via face-to-face meetings, presentations, and ongoing consultation.
  • Deliver Value-Led Solutions: Understand clients’ specific security needs and partner with technical teams to develop offerings that deliver clear ROI.
  • Plan Territory/ Market – Utilise a land and expand model to grow revenue.
  • Support Broader Business Objectives: Meet and exceed revenue targets, contribute to reporting and forecasting, and represent the brand at key industry events.
About You
You’re a commercially minded sales professional with a strong record of success in building relationships and closing complex deals. You’re confident operating in consultative environments and enjoy the challenge of helping clients solve real business problems.
  • MUST have experience in Cyber-Security. 
  • Experience dealing with customers/accounts across government, healthcare , finance and NFP sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Strategic and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive commercial outcomes
  • Willing to travel for client meetings, events, and industry engagement
  • Formal sales training or business development qualifications are an advantage
