About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be the lead for Coles working across all categories. In this critical role, you’ll lead a team of 3 and take full accountability for the strategic and day-to-day management of the relationship, playing a key role in delivering profitable growth through best-in-class customer engagement, promotional planning, and execution of category strategies.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Full ownership of the Coles account, managing trading terms, joint business planning, and customer strategy.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 3
  • Drive customer engagement and lead key negotiations to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure aligned delivery of business plans.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities and influence category performance.
  • Oversee promotional strategy, in-store execution and NPD launches.
Skills & experience

You will be a proven National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry, having specifically working on either Coles or Woolworths with leadership responsibility. Ideally degree qualified, you will have exceptional commercial acumen, a strategic mindset, demonstrated success in negotiating accompanied with a genuine passion for working in a team environment.
