Be part of a highly recognised Australian company with over 30 years experience, who focus their attention on Industrial Manufacturing & Processing, Transport & Supply Chain, Commercial and Retail industries.

About the role:
Step into a national role focused on growing connections with some of Australia’s biggest names in Retail, Logistics, Supply Chain and Property. The role is designed for somebody keen to seek out opportunities that others might overlook, and who enjoys digging into how large organisations really work.

Reporting to the GM of Sales, you will uncover and grow relationships with contractors, clients end users, to identify new business opportunities and present solutions to stakeholders across their waste management programs and initiatives.

Duties & key responsibilities:
  • Reach out to and engage decision makers at major retailers, distribution companies and property groups, from head office through to site managers.
  • Win new business by mapping out buying structures, understanding who really makes decisions, and presenting solutions in a way that resonates.
  • Build genuine relationships that unlock new account possibilities, rather than just chasing quotes.
  • Structure and close deals via purchase, lease, or service models, tailoring each approach to the client’s needs.
  • Gather and share market insights with our team to help steer product innovation, including moves towards standardisation and digital integration.
  • Keep one eye on contract cycles and competitor activity, to make sure we’re in the right spot at the right time.
Ideal background:
  • Experience selling into major retail, logistics, or property companies at a strategic level.
  • Comfortable engaging people at all levels — from the boardroom to the warehouse floor.
  • Able to find out what really matters to procurement, not just what’s written in a brief.
  • Understands that commercial success relies on listening, adapting, and finding the win-win.
  • +5 years in similar position, solution selling capital equipment or consumables.
  • The ability to work in both a reactive and proactive environment where you can identify commercial opportunities.
