At the centre of this role is a market leading safety product used widely across industrial processing environments, a high-impact solution with growing international demand. Backed by strong R&D, in-house manufacturing, and a service-first approach, the business is now focused on expanding its global distributor footprint, and needs a channel sales manager to make it happen.
Role Overview:
This newly created position will lead the business’s international distributor network across key regions including Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia, and South Korea. The mandate will be for 3 international trips in the first 12 months to visit these distributors. All other activity will be managed from Head office in Melbourne.
You’ll be responsible for building a more structured, high-performing channel model, embedding a value-led sales approach, and increasing offshore sales of a premium safety solution. This is a strategic and hands-on role, focused on enabling partners, driving pipeline activity, and ensuring a consistent global go-to-market approach.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a scalable global distributor strategy
- Analyse existing partnerships and restructure where needed
- Lead onboarding, enablement, and in-field sales support across international partners
- Deliver joint business planning and sales coaching to drive performance
- Embed the solution’s service and compliance value proposition into every market
- Support partner prospecting and pipeline development to meet export targets
- Conduct market analysis and attend relevant trade shows and conferences
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong experience in distributor/channel sales
- Proven ability to build and deliver GTM strategies
- Skilled at objection handling, solution selling, and sales coaching
- Comfortable with technical product sales (manufacturing/industrial)
- Commercial mindset and ability to influence across markets and cultures
- Confident presenter, relationship builder, and customer-first thinker
