A leading private equity–owned health care provider is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO and Board in shaping the company’s next phase of growth. With strong market positioning, a diverse shareholder base, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to clients across Australia, the business is poised for significant expansion and transformation.

The Role

As CFO and Company Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in financial leadership, governance, and strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership – Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management to support long-term growth and shareholder value.
  • M&A and Governance Expertise – Provide financial leadership across mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, integration, and compliance. Manage board processes, statutory reporting, and corporate governance.
  • Commercial & Operational Impact – Drive efficiency, streamline processes, and deliver insights to support executive decision-making. Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, procurement, IT, and property.
  • Leadership – Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a values-driven, collaborative culture aligned with the organisation’s mission.
About You
You are an experienced finance executive who brings:
  • A proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader within PE-backed or private organisations.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Expertise across strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and capital stewardship.
  • Experience with M&A transactions, governance frameworks, and Company Secretary responsibilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage banking relationships, supplier negotiations, and risk.
  • A collaborative leadership style, able to inspire teams and work closely with an engaged CEO and Board.
  • Experience in health, aged care, or professional services sectors will be highly regarded, but not essential.
