About the company
For nearly 50 years, this respected social change organisation has been working to build a more just society. With programs spanning mental health, housing, education, and violence prevention, their approach is both practical and systemic: delivering direct support to those most in need while also influencing change at a broader level.

About the role
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Communications team, you will develop and deliver integrated campaigns that strengthen donor relationships and drive giving. This includes appeals, newsletters and digital engagement across channels such as direct mail, email, SMS and social media.

Your work will be backed by a loyal donor community, many of whom are long-term supporters who give generously. With three major appeals per year and a growing digital strategy, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas and new approaches to deepen engagement and expand fundraising impact. This is a role where creativity is welcomed and where you can contribute to shaping future fundraising strategies.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating and delivering donor appeals and communications (print and digital)
  • Engaging donors with compelling stories that highlight impact and inspire giving
  • Supporting donor stewardship and journey management, including digital touchpoints
  • Collaborating with colleagues across fundraising, communications and programs
  • Assisting with data, reporting and insights to continually improve fundraising activity

About you

  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering a range of fundraising communications including appeals, newsletters and online content.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability (or keen interest) to write emotive fundraising content that connects donors to impact.
  • Experience across digital marketing, including email platforms, newsletters, SMS, or using social media for fundraising.
  • Ideally some familiarity with CRM systems (ideally eTapestry, but training provided) and a comfort with data will be an advantage.
  • Most importantly, you’re curious, collaborative and eager to bring new ideas.

What’s on offer
  • Permanent, part-time role (3 days per week) with hybrid flexibility
  • Richmond-based office with parking available
  • A supportive, purpose-driven team that values collaboration and innovation
  • The opportunity to grow with the role as the fundraising program expands
