About the Job
A leading Australian food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the operations of one of its key Queensland production facilities.
The site plays a critical role in supplying major retail and industrial customers across Australia and operates within a high-volume, multi-line environment.

This is a pivotal leadership position focused on performance, structure, and engagement — bringing operational stability and a clear direction for the team.

The Opportunity
The Site Manager will lead all aspects of site operations, including production, packaging, maintenance, and warehousing.
The role will suit a leader who is hands-on, organised, and focused on driving a strong team culture.

Key priorities include:
  • Leading the on-site leadership team across production, packaging, quality, and maintenance functions.
  • Setting clear direction and expectations to strengthen culture and performance.
  • Building collaboration between departments and ensuring consistent communication across the site.
  • Lifting operational standards around safety, quality, and reliability.
  • Supporting site efficiency projects and process improvements.
  • Partnering with national functions across Safety, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on systems and priorities.
  • Maintaining a strong floor presence and visible leadership style.
Skills and Experience We’re seeking an experienced manufacturing leader who has:
  • Proven experience in a senior site or operations leadership role within FMCG or food manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a practical, steady approach.
  • Solid understanding of production systems, maintenance, and quality management.
  • Experience applying Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High level of ownership and accountability with the ability to lead through change.
A background in broader food or ingredient manufacturing will be highly regarded.
